How do I become a member of the Fernie Rotary Club?

What are the requirements of a member?
We are an inclusive club and welcome all!
Are interested in community service through personal involvement.
Able to attend at least one club meeting a month and participate in community projects.
Live or work within the vicinity of the club or surrounding area.
What are the responsibilities of membership?
If you’re interested in joining, reach out to one of our members to explore whether the following responsibilities and commitments are a fit your you.
Pay annual dues and participate in local club activities and projects.
Aspire to take on club leadership or committee roles. We are a small club that does many things!
We accommodate busy schedules by offering alternating lunch and dinner meetings.
1st Wednesday of each month - Our lunch meetings are business focused with guest speakers and also available by ZOOM. Meetings run 12:00 - 1:00pm.
3rd Wednesday of each month - Our dinner meetings are social, a bit longer and always open to guests. Meetings run 6:00 - 7:30pm.
Member meetings take place at Park Place Lodge, Fernie, BC.
Can I volunteer to help out if I’m not a member?
Yes! You can offer to assist any Fernie Rotary event or activity at any time. Many hands make light work!
Guests are welcome to attend our meetings at any time!
